Prosperity is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of Michael Dunlop for the 2019 International Road Racing season.
Already described as making a ’blistering start to the season’, Dunlop finished second fastest in practice yesterday, as he and the team gear up for the North West 200, a 4-day event starting tomorrow in Northern Ireland. Riding a Tyco BMW Superbike for a second year, Dunlop will take to the 9 mile stretch of road, reaching speeds of over 200 miles per hour in Northern Ireland’s biggest annual sporting event.
In a packed racing season also including the Southern 100, Ulster Grand Prix and ending at the Macau Grand Prix in November, all eyes will undoubtedly be on Dunlop for the much anticipated TT Race in the Isle of Man in June. Across six days of mind- blowingly high speed racing, Dunlop, the third most successful rider of all time at the TT event, will battle to achieve his 19th win in the eagerly anticipated Senior TT race, concluding the event on Friday 7th June.
Dunlop said: “It’s great to have Prosperity on board with myself and the MD Race team for a third year. We’re back bigger and better than ever for this season. I have a strong team and a great bunch of lads, some who will be returning with me this year along with a few new faces. The team put in the hours and hard work to help get me to where I am today. We have the new S1000 RR K67 bike this year and ready to take on the challenges that 2019 brings.”
