Park View Update Q3 2021


  • The Architect, Structural & M&E Engineers have been appointed and are progressing the Stage 4 / pre-construction design.
  • A Fire Consultant has been appointed to review the designs and specification for compliance with all current and emerging building fire legislation.
  • The piling and foundation designs are progressing in conjunction with the superstructure and initial discussions have taken place with potential contractors to carry out the works
  • The architect is developing the planning approved design to ensure compliance with the current Building Regulations and progressing the detailed construction drawings.
  • The design team are in discussions with the BCC planning department to change the external fa├žade from metal cladding to brickwork.
  • An enabling works tender has been issued for pricing for the final demolitions and works along the boundaries to prepare the site for the commencement of the substructure works.
  • Temporary supplies for electricity and water to service the site during the construction phase have been organised.
  • Mobilisation has commenced for a start on site which is targeted for October 21.
  • The design team are progressing towards assembling fully detailed work packages to issue to the supply chain for pricing.
  • Electrical supply / point of connection to the site has been secured and allocated to the development site.
